Earlier this year the classic Coast to Coast route was completed on the new Evari 856 EXP | Edition, tracing a line from the North Sea at Tynemouth to the Irish Sea at Whitehaven.
Where possible, the journey followed gravel and quiet roads, allowing the ride to unfold at a measured pace, away from traffic and distraction.

The C2C, often mistaken for “Coast to Coast” but in fact short for “Sea to Sea,” remains the UK’s most iconic challenge ride. Stretching 137 miles across the spine of the country, the route begins on the disused railway paths of County Durham, climbs over the Pennines, and then descends into the dramatic landscapes of the Lake District.

The first stage ended in Blanchland, a remarkably well-preserved stone village built on the site of a medieval abbey. From there, the crossing of the Pennines provided the most demanding day, with long climbs requiring careful balance between effort and battery management. The final stage swept through Lakeland valleys before reaching Whitehaven, where the sea marks the official end of the ride.
